Spanish move unlikely for Ings admits Sociedad chairman
The La Liga side have expressed a sustained interest in taking the club’s leading scorer to the Basque Country to work under former Manchester United boss David Moyes.
However Ings, confirmed in Gareth Southgate’s Under 21 squad for the Euro 2015 group games against Portugal, Sweden and Italy this month, is believed to have started negotiations with Liverpool over a move to Anfield.

Aperribay, who watched Txuriurdin finish mid-table in Spain, told Naiz: “We have monitored him since the winter transfer market.
“But we have not spoken to Ings’ entourage for almost a month now.
“I don’t think he’s an easy candidate to arrive to La Real. He has a lot of offers from England and we will have to wait to see what he decides.
“But it looks highly unlikely that he will join us.”
