Fire engines from Nelson and Burnley were called to an oven fire at a Brierfield property last night.

Deploying a hose reel and ventilation unit to extinguish the fire, a pair of fire crews were called to the address on Limefield Avenue in the town at around 6.40pm. No injuries were reported.
