Man injured after car flips over
A man was taken to hospital with serious arm injuries after a car hit a bridge and flipped onto its side on Ormerod Road this morning at 6am.
The road was closed for around an hour as the blue Citroen C4 was made safe.
A police spokesman said: “The road had to be closed because of the precarious position of the car to the canal."
