Firefighters had to free the occupant of a car after it collided with a tree in Colne earlier today.
A second victim was also given first aid at the scene before both casualties were taken to hospital after the accident at 1-30pm in Langdale Rise.
One fire engine from Nelson attended the incident and crews spent 40 minutes at the scene making the area safe.
