Anyone with an interest in Wikipedia is welcome to attend a free “editathon” at Clitheroe Castle Museum on Saturday September 26th.

The editathon will start at 10 am and finish at 4 pm and during the morning, there will be a tour of the museum. After lunch, there will be the chance to edit Wikipedia and to write articles on Clitheroe Castle Museum, items in the museum’s collection and the site.

All Wikipedians are welcome, whether experienced or new to Wikipedia editing. Help will be on hand for those with little or no editing experience.

Computers will be available on the day, but people are also welcome to bring their own laptop. Lunch will be provided.

A free Wikipedia editor training day will be held tomorrow (Saturday September 19th). Attending one of these sessions will help to equip anyone with the skills to participate in the editathon.
