Saturday teatime used to be my favourite time for television. Why? – because that rascal Basil Brush and his famous laugh was on.
A few decades later and now my two children Ruaridh (8) and Flora (5) are as much in love with the bushy tailed fox as I am.
So we couldn’t resist going to see the top man live on stage at Southport and with his chum Mr Stephen (Chris Pizzey), the two of them had us and the rest of the audience in stitches with their good old fashioned humour.
And even better we got the chance to meet the main fox after the show as Basil and Mr Stephen patiently allowed the excited audience to meet and greet them.
Basil hasn’t lost any of his charm, although he doesn’t boom, boom or give out that blistering arch backed laugh as much these days.
But the show is a real entertainer and the good news is Basil is on tour and today there is one family ticket (two adults and two children) on offer to see the show.
All you have to do is answer the following question and supply your contact details by August 28th.
