With bucket loads of experience under his belt, he is sure not to get “cold feet” when headlining an upcoming local gig.
The Fast Show’s John Thomson is set to entertain crowds at The Sparrowhawk, in Fence, on Tuesday, July 23rd.
Perhaps best known for his role as Peter Gifford on ITV’s Cold Feet, the 44-year-old entertainer has made his return to stand-up comedy following a successful career in film, television, theatre and radio.
The Men Behaving Badly star will be performing as part of the popular pub’s Ha Ha Club, which has been running successful comedy nights for over two years.
John will be supported by El Purnell, numero uno comicá d’Ecuador — who will deliver his hilarious and captivating act in native Spanish. Compered by the jocular Will Duggan, the line-up will be completed by Will Setchell and Burnley’s own Arron Riley.
The Sparrowhawk’s landlord Mark Etherington said: “It’s a bit of a coup and an absolute pleasure to have John headlining our comedy gig.
“Our comedy nights are always well received and we’re always trying to raise the bar in terms of talent.”
Tickets are priced at £10 and can be bought by ringing 603034 or by visiting www.hahacomedyclubs.co.uk
