A HOME-GROWN talent to challenge the likes of Michael Bublé perform the next gig for the Ribble Valley Jazz and Blues Club.
Fronting his own quartet, Halifax-born A. J. Brown is a singer/songwiter and saxophonist who brings his own brand of youthful exuberance to the world of jazz. After picking up the alto sax at a very early age, the prodigious talent last yer graduated from the Leeds College of Music, where he also sang with the College Big Band.
His debut album, “On Song”, features a range of original tunes abd fantastic arrangements, many of which will be performed at the Clitheroe gig.
It takes place on Thursday February 2nd at the club’s usual venue, the Atrium Café Bar, at Clitheroe Castle, starting at 8 p.m.
Members and non-members are welcome, there is good parking and a licemsed bar, with food available.
