Tickets are selling fast for a spooky bash to raise funds for cystic fibrosis sufferers.

Inspired by Whalley youngster Amelia Dickinson ( 12), who suffers from the life threatening chronic disease, the Hallowe’en nall has been organised by Amelia’s parents, Samantha and Symon, Amelia’s aunt, Gail Bailey, and their friend, Siobhan Trickett.

It will be held at the Eagle at Barrow on Saturday, October 26th, with entertainment from an acoustic and vocal duo plus resident DJ. It will start at 7 pm and go on until 1 am. Tickets cost £35 with all proceeds going to the Cystic Fibrosis Trust.

The dress code is black tie and great prizes have already been donated for the raffle and silent auction from a host of local businesses. These include James Places, Coniston Hall, Sarah Layton’s Jewellers, of Whalley, Space NK, Oakhill Academy, Stanley House Hotel at Mellor and the Clifton Hotel at Lytham.

The Swan Hotel at Whalley, Blackburn Chemicals Ltd, the Lancaster Foundation and Anderton Bosonnet estate agents have also kindly sponsored the event.
