A RECORD-BREAKING crowd enjoyed the sights and sounds of this year’s Beat Herder Festival.

More than 7,500 descended on the Ribble Valley and basked in glorious sunshine to enjoy the three-day extravaganza, which featured top artists including Simian Mobile Disco, Leftfield and Mr Scruff. Organiser Nick Chambers hailed the event, which is in its sixth year, as a huge success and the best yet.
