A FAIRYTALE ballet is coming to life at King George’s Hall in Blackburn.
The story of Cinderella is one of the best-known fairytales, and Vienna Festival Ballet’s full-length version has all the familiar ingredients.
A specially-commissioned score, created solely for Vienna Festival Ballet by Chris Nicholls, with music from some of Rossini’s most famous operas, “La Cenerentola”, “The Italian Girl in Algiers” and “Silken Ladder”, adds to the magical fantasy world of Cinderella.
The ballet takes place on Monday from 7 p.m. with tickets £13.50 (adults), £11.50 (seniors) and £9.50 (under 16s). A ballet workshop will also take place on Monday between 4 and 5 p.m. Tickets for this are £5.
Bookings can be made by ringing 0844 847 1664.
