Tennants Auctioneers are hosting a free antiques valuation day at Mitton Hall, Mitton Whalley, for the first time.
The event will be hosted by Associate Director Nigel Smith (pictured) of Flog It! and Bargain Hunt fame.
Nigel has recently been on Tennants rostrum achieving record breaking hammer prices for Oriental ceramics, a rare Chinese blue and white bottle vase selling at £2.6 million.
At Mitton Hall Nigel will be accompanied by Sarah Hardy, Tennants jewellery specialist, who will be providing free advice and valuations on all jewellery from antique to modern pieces.
Nigel will be happy to look at silver, ceramics, clocks, paintings and most collectables offering free advice and valuations to visitors. Any items that people would like to enter into an auction can be left with Tennants on the day. Items too large to take along to the event can be initially valued from photographs or digital images.
Mitton Hall has also offered a discount of 20% to anyone attending the valuation who would like to stay for afternoon tea, including the hall’s very special champagne afternoon tea. So why not go along and find out if you have a treasure, see the beautiful Mitton Hall and enjoy afternoon tea in stunning surroundings.
The event is next Thursday, June 6th, from 11 am to 3 pm. To find out more phone Tennants Auctioneers 01423 531661.
