Tickets for this year’s Clitheroe Community Bonfire go on sale next month.
And with the first 2,5000 tickets to be sold there will the chance to buy one of 10 lucky tickets!
These lucky tickets will be designed slightly differently to the others and give whoever buys one the chance to light either the bonfire or the firework display on Saturday, November 2nd.
The first two of the 10 lucky ticket holders to contact the Clitheroe Advertiser and times with their special tickets will win this star prize, while the eight runners-up will be presented with a bottle of house Champagne, Stephane Breton, from Byrne’s wine shop in Clitheroe.
How to spot if you have a lucky ticket and details about how to claim your prize will be disclosed in our edition of Thursday, October 17th.
This year’s bonfire will go ahead on the Clitheroe Castle field as an all-ticket event due to health and safety regulations, with a maximum 5,000 people allowed to attend.
Tickets will go on sale on October 3rd at Lidl and Dawsons in Clitheroe.
They are also available from the Rotary Clubs of Clitheroe, Ribblesdale or Pendle View, Clitheroe Round Table and Clitheroe Lions Club members.
Costing £10 for a family ticket (two adults and two children under 16), £5 for an adult ticket (16 and over), £2 for a child’s ticket (under 16) and free for under threes, they will also be on sale at Sainsbury’s on October 10th, 11th and 12th, Booths on October 17th, 18th and 19th and Tesco on October 24th, 25th and 26th.
No tickets will be for sale on the night of the bonfire.
