Bashall Barn to appear on TV food programme

An episode of another foodie programme “10 Mile Menu” was filmed at Bashall Barn, late last year and on Monday, at 2 p.m. the programme is being aired on ITV1.

The programme features two teams comprising one novice celebrity cook and one professional chef. who plit their wits against one another in a fast-paced culinary challenge in the kitchen as they cook a three course meal using only local produce from a 10-mile radius, in front of the cameras.

The two celebrities at Bashall Barn were Scottish television presenter Aggie MacKenzie, most prominently know for Chanel Four series “How Clean is your House” and Laila Rouass who starred in the infamous ITV series “Footballers Wives” and “Spooks”. The chefs helping the stars are Galton Blackiston and Japanese TV chef Jun Tanaka.
