Ribchester Tennis Club marked the completion of the refurbishment of their courts with an open day.
The tennis courts have been resurfaced and repainted following a two-year fundraising campaign.
The nets have been replaced and new benches bought for spectators.
The courts were opened by lifelong member of Ribchester Tennis Club Rachel Eyre and junior member Dylan Walker (pictured, s).
The opening was attended by past and present members of the club and representatives of Ribchester Parish Council and the Ribchester Church Street Trust, both of which had supported the fundraising campaign.
The tennis courts were last resurfaced in 1999 and Tom Ives, Chairman of Ribchester Tennis Club said:“Resurfacing the courts has taken a lot of effort by the tennis club and the Ribchester community.
“We are thankful for the support from the parish council, Ribble Valley Borough Council, Lancashire LTA, the Harris Charity and Ribchester Church Street Trust for providing grants to help fund the work. “
Over 50 people attended the open day, with many picking racquets up for the first time.
Introductory coaching and cardio tennis sessions were run.
