CLITHEROE have three teams in the quarter-finals of the East Lancashire 10 Reds tournament - and two have drawn each other in the last eight.

The tie of the round sees Low Moor Club, the current defending champions, host Clitheroe Social Club.

The date of the game has yet to be confirmed, but everybody is welcome to come and watch, in what will be standing room only.

The winners will face Alexandra 2 (Nelson) or Alexandra 2 (Darwen), or St Andrew’s (Burnley) at Claremont on Tuesday, May 8th at 7-45 p.m.

On the other side of the draw, arguably two of the favourites are the Excelsior Blackpool and Burnley Dickie Pinks, who face each other in what should also be a good match.

Blackburn with Darwen’s last representative, the Alexandra from Darwen, will have to overcome Burnley’s St Andrew’s before facing their namesakes the Alexandra from Nelson.

The final is on Thursday, May 10th at 7-45 p.m.

All the quarter-final matches are to be played by April 29th.
