Whalley race ace Harry Hartley is back on his bike after agreeing to ride for ILR Kawasaki in the Pirelli National Superstock 1000 Championship.
The 17-year-old started the season in British Super Bikes with Halsall Racing, and was the youngest points scorer in the championship.
But he parted ways with Halsall before a brief period with the Tsingtao team.
Harry, nicknamed , “Hartley Hare”, was left without a ride until late last week when a deal was struck with Ian Lougher and his team.
He was soon in action at the weekend at Silverstone, finishing 25th, and will finish the season at Brands Hatch in a few weeks’ time.
ILR said: “Despite his young age, Hartley comes to the team with a race-proven pedigree. He has made rapid progress in a relatively short space of time, and he isn’t the least bit daunted as he takes on new challenges.”
