Michael Bisping will finally get his chance to dish out some capital punishment when he returns to England to fight for the first time in over five years.
The “Count” has been penned in to face Dutchman Gegard Mousasi at UFC Fight Night 83 at London’s O2 Arena on February 27th.
The Clitheroe fighter, ranked eighth in the middleweight division, picked up his 17th win under the UFC banner when beating Thales Leites via a split decision in Glasgow, Scotland, in July.
Bisping also dismantled C.B. Dollaway via a unanimous decision in Montreal, Canada, just three months prior to his headline bout against the Brazilian.
Meanwhile, Mousasi’s last fight resulted in a loss to Uriah Hall.
Bisping will celebrate his 37th birthday the day after the contest.
