Clitheroe Dolphins shine in Salford

A POD of Clitheroe Dolphins descended on Salford to compete in the Aquabears gala and finished overall behind Bobcats in the visiting teams competition, beating Salford into third place.

In total, 90 new personal best times were achieved and 10 gold, 21 silver and 18 bronze medals were won.

Medalists for the Saturday morning were as follows - gold for Ben Stanley in the 400m IM, Harvey Griffin in the 50m breast and Alice Entwistle in the 50m back.

Silver for Hannah Procter in the 400m free, Alasdair Moir in the 50m breast, Ben Stanley in the 50m breast and Darcy Williams in the 50m back.

Bronze for Abbi Procter in the 400m free, Harvey Griffin in the 200m free and Ben Stanley in the 200m free.

Medalists for the Saturday afternoon were- Gold for Alice Entwistle in the 200m IM.

Silver for Hannah Procter in the 200m IM, Harvey Griffin in the 50m fly, Ben Stanley in the 50m fly, Hannah Procter in the 50m free, Ben Stanley in the 100m free, Isabella Watt in the 100m back and Jack Stanley in the 200m fly.

Bronze for Darcy Williams in the 200m IM, Adam Stansfield in the 200m back, Harvey Griffin in the 200m back, Charlie Coy in the 200m breast, Alasdair Moir in the 50m fly, Harvey Griffin in the 100m free and Joe Kenny in the 100m free.

Medalists for the Sunday morning were- Gold for Harvey Griffin in the 100m breast, Ben Stanley in 100m breast and Darcy Williams in 200m free.

Silver for Hannah Procter in the 400m IM, Ben Stanley in the 400m free and Megan Davidson in the 100m fly.
