The Tiger Taxis Clitheroe and District Snooker League held its annual presentation night at the Low Moor Club last Friday.
The evening was well-attended, with a comedian and supper before Usman Hussain of Tiger Taxis presented the trophies.
Chatburn A won the league on the last game of the season, narrowly pipping Clitheroe Conservative Club.
In the league cup knockout, Low Moor A defeated their own B team.
Clitheroe Royal British Legion duo Mark Riley and Mark Hitchen beat Billington’s Paul Rutter and Tony Wright 2-1 in the doubles final.
Clitheroe Conservative Club’s Stuart Whittaker beat Legion’s Steven Almond 2-1 in the singles final, which went down to the last two balls.
The highest league break award went to Low Moor A’s Gavin McQuade with a run of 76 against Chatburn A.
The snooker committee would like to thank Tiger Taxis, Thoroughgoods for donating raffle prizes, the Low Moor Club for hosting the evening and everybody who attended for making it a good night.
