Michael Bisping could turn to Brad Tavares in a bid to resurrect his career once again.
The 35-year-old Count fell to a unanimous defeat to underdog Tim Kennedy in the TUF Nations Finale main event with scores of 49-46, 49-46 and 50-45 at the Colisee Pepsi.
While Bisping fell to his third loss in five outings, Tavares’s climb up the middleweight rankings came to an abrupt halt at UFC on FOX 11. On the back of a five-fight winning streak, the 26-year-old came unstuck against Yoel Romero with a unanimous-decision loss.
Following their respective reversals, the 185lb pair took to Twitter with Tavares stating: “We both comin off a loss, u know I’m not going to take you down and hump u. But I will be there to take your head off. Let’s do this.”
Bisping replied: “I want to FIGHT ASAP. Speak to the bosses. I’ve never turned anyone down.”
