UFC star Michael Bisping has been forced to withdraw from his Manchester homecoming after suffering a severe eye injury in the lead up to his Fight Night 30 battle against Mark Munoz.
The show at the Phones 4 U Arena on October 26th will still go ahead with former light heavyweight champion Lyoto Machida - making his middleweight debut - stepping in to replace Bisping.
Back in May, doctors discovered that Bisping had competed in consecutive fights against Vitor Belfort and Alan Belcher with a detached retina in his right eye.
After undergoing surgery later that month at the Retina Institute of California, doctors eventually cleared him to train and spar.
However, Bisping suffered a relapse and has reluctantly been pulled from the fight.
