The seventh December Professional’s Winter Competition at Whalley Golf Club was won by Ben Graves, who posted 30 points, giving him the 10 order of merit points available.

Ben played in the morning and just managed to get his 13 holes in before the heavens opened for the afternoon players, but the course held up well under the heavy rain.

Second place was Mel Earle with 28 points on a card play-off from Chris Thompson.

The Professional’s Winter order of merit is currently being led by M. Earle with 18 points, five ahead of P. Chalker, with K. Moore in third place, with 11 points.
