Adam climbs to seventh in British Tour Car Championships

Whalley’s Adam Morgan moved up in the British Touring Car Championship after the latest round at the Rockingham Motor Speedway.

Morgan qualified 19th, 0.75s away from pole position, and gained six places in the first lap alonebefore finishing in ninth place.

Starting from the front row for the second race, Morgan came home fourth, and in race three, damage to his car saw him come home in 19th – only his third non points finish of the year.

Morgan moved up to seventh place in the championship with 208 points, and the action continues at the end of the month at Silverstone for the penultimate round.
