Jimmy Anderson became the country’s leading one-day wicket-taker after helping England to victory in their Champions Trophy game against Australia at Edgbaston.

The Burnley Express took three wickets as he overhauled Darren Gough’s record of 234 to leave him on 237 from 170 matches.

In February, Anderson passed Ian Botham’s record of 528 wickets to become England’s leading international wicket-taker in all formats.
