Fred Booth Memorial Trophy race is wide open

After the third week of fixtures in the Fred Booth Memorial Trophy the race for the two final spots is wide open.

Previously unbeaten St James travelled to Low Moor and were soundly beaten. James Scott made 30 retired as St James made 79, but Charlie Collinge led Low Moor home with an unbeaten 35.

In the other game this week Sabden travelled up to Chipping and the game had a very tight finish.

Sabden batted first and made 125 for 5 in their 18 overs with Nick Burton making 34 retired.

In reply Phil Mayers held the innings together as Ramblers won with a scampered single off the last ball.
