United test excites Lowton
Jose Mourinho has a vast array of attacking options at his disposal and that could see the former Aston Villa full back have a selection of Wayne Rooney, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Marcus Rashford, Anthony Martial, Paul Pogba, Jesse Lingard and Juan Mata for company.
It will be the fourth visit to the Theatre of Dreams for the 27-year-old having endured three defeats previously for the Villans.

A Rooney brace plus goals from Mata and Javier Hernandez secured a 4-1 win for the Red Devils the following season while Ander Herrera’s double in addition to Rooney’s strike inflicted a 3-1 loss on Tim Sherwood’s side last year.
Those experiences, however, haven’t doused Lowton’s excitement. “It would be nice to get our fiorst point on the road.
“It’s where everybody wants to play when they’re growing up but we’ve got to put that to the back of our heads.

“It’s going to be difficult, we know that, but there’s no reason why we can’t go there and put on a performance.”
Speaking about Burnley’s late winner against Everton at Turf Moor at the weekend, Lowton added: “It gives us confidence. When you score as late as we did today it does seem to carry in to the following week.
“When you score late on you need to take that positivity and mentality in to the next game.

“We’ve been looking forward to it all week. It’s a difficult place to go but it’s where everybody wants to play.”
The Clarets have conceded three goals in each of their games on their travels this term with Chelsea, Leicester City and Southampton winning comfortably.
And Lowton is hopeful that Sean Dyche’s side can start translating their home form in to their away games sooner rather than later.

“Performances have been disappointing first and foremost, nevermind the results. We’ve got to try and take how we’re playing at home, away.”
