Third bid for Derby midfielder Hendrick rejected
Burnley have had a third bid for Derby midfielder Jeff Hendrick rejected.
The Clarets had an initial £3.5m offer for the 24-year-old turned down by the Rams, but returned with an improved package, believed to be in the region of £5.5m for the Republic of Ireland international, who shone at Euro 2016, starting all four games for Martin O'Neill's side.
Derby were not prepared to accept that either, and a third offer, in excess of £7m, has also been knocked back.
However, speculation that Tendayi Darikwa and James Tarkowski were offered to the Rams on loan as part of the deal are well wide of the mark.
