Sabden returned emphatically to winning ways by thumping Billington 12-1 at a very soggy Nutter Barn.
The game was practically won within the first 11 minutes as the home side swept into a 4-0 lead, with both David Fallon and Will Child bagging a brace each.
Billington scored with their only effort of note on 15 minutes, with a stunning 35 yard strike that even the in-form David De Gea would have struggled to get to.
However, the Reds were relentless in their pursuit of their first win in three games and two more from Fallon and a fine run and finish from Dean Foxall meant that Sabden headed into the break 7-1 up!
Realising the game was up, Billington decided to park the bus on a damage limitation exercise, and to give them credit it worked to some degree as it was the 67th minute before the net billowed again; Child completing his second hat-trick of the season following good work from Fallon and Paul Astin.
Upon conceding, the Blues from Billington wilted again and on 72 mins, Jacob Buggie galloped clear before lashing a rising drive into the roof of the net after being played in by a clinical Adam Fuller through ball.
Jason Bates made it 10 on 75 after unselfish play from David Kerrision created an opening. Astin tapped in on 78 to make it 24 for the season for and Fallon was on hand to tap in Buggie`s pass on 87 to wrap up the scoring.
