Sabden moved into second place in the Harry Dewhurst Memorial League after a competitive clash at a foggy Wilson’s.

Dog mounted an early onslaught, however, five minutes from half-time Sabden got their noses in front as Paul Astin smashed a left-foot strike in from 15 yards.

Sabden added a second 20 minutes from time as Astin finished after a powerful run from James Dickinson, David Fallon added a late brace to kill the game, taking advantage of a poor clearance, before finishing a deft pass from Ryan Graves.

There was a 90th-minute consolation goal for Dog, a Craig Barnes penalty following a trip on Travis Blezard.
