Burnley recovered from Monday’s 5-0 thumping at the hands of Manchester City yesterday evening the best way they know how, a stuffy 1-0 home success over Watford. The result lifts Sean Dyche’s men into 11th and with their gaze set on breaking into the top half.
The Clarets now have a few days break to prepare for the trip to London to face Crystal Palace with more clarity over the squad at Dyche’s disposal following the announcement on player contract extensions.
