Hurst Green came away from the seaside with three valuable league points after another spirited team performance.
Green took the lead after Harri Yerkess calmly stroked the ball home following a deft touch from Tyler Baron. Unfortunately the lead was to last only a couple of minutes following a defensive lapse at a set piece routine.
Within five minutes of the restart Green found themselves staring down the barrel of a gun after another soft goal was conceded. However this ended up proving to be only a temporary setback as the Green lads rallied.
Their endeavours were rewarded 15 minutes from time when the referee awarded a penalty, following a blatant foul on Jonny Mort. Skipper Young stepped up for the second week in succession and calmly slotted home the equaliser.
With five minutes remaining on the clock Ollie Shipston collected the ball 25 yards out and glided past a defender before arrowing an unstoppable shot into the top corner.
