"We adapted quite well, we had to try and control the second balls here, and I have to understand the referees. Sometimes it is a foul, and sometimes not. The same foul sometimes is, sometimes it isn't.

"It is completely different to other countries. I need more time to understand.

"Today was so important, to have won, because it is so complicated to control it, you have to defend long balls, they play wide with the full backs and wingers, crosses, corners, throw ins and free kicks.

"It is a tough game and hopefully in the future we can control it better."

Asked whether Burnley can stay up, he added: "Of course. Before the game they were the second best in the league in home games, just Chelsea better.

"I saw the game against Liverpool, against Arsenal, so tough, what they do, they do it well.

"I'm really impressed because it doesn't matter the way you want to play, it's important to do it properly, and they do it really good."
