Former Clitheroe winger Duncan Watmore has been named in England Under 21s head coach Gareth Southgate’s first squad of the new campaign, which starts against USA up the A59 at Deepdale next Thursday night.

The Sunderland man, who netted his first Premier League goal against Norwich City last Saturday, joined the Blues on loan from Altrincham during 2011/12.

And he is in Southgate’s squad for the first time for the game against USA’s Under 23 Olympic hopefuls in Preston, before starting their Euro U21 Qualifying campaign in Norway on Monday, September 7th.

Tickets for the game at Deepdale are priced at £10 for adults and £5 for children, with a family ticket (two adults and two children) £20 and group bookings of 15+ £5 for adults and £1 for children.
