Moorland schoolboy Ethan Myers is potty about Barcelona wizard Lionel Messi.
So when the 12-year-old got the opportunity to see his hero play at the famous Camp Nou, Ethan found himself part of Spanish football history.
Argentina forward Messi not only broke the club’s goal-scoring record, he did it in sensational style, netting a hat trick in Barcelona’s thrilling 7-0 win over Osasuna.
“Messi is an unbelievable player, so to be in the stadium for that moment in his career was a dream come true,” said Ethan, who was on a week long school trip to Barcelona with Moorland School.
“He is the best player in the world, and I love to watch him play because he has so much speed and skill.”
