HARRY Dewhurst Memorial League champions Dog Inn are hoping that 2012 will bring them even more success.
This year has been a memorable one for the Whalley side, as they clinched their first-ever league crown in May and have won eight of their 10 matches in defence of their title.
In addition to their league quest, they are hoping to taste cup glory at Accrington Stanley in the Terry Cattermole Trophy.
They have been drawn at home to Station in the quarter-finals at the end of February.
Manager Simon Kerins said: “2011 has obviously been great for the club, but we have high hopes that 2012 can be an even better year. If we win our remaining six league games, we will have to be extremely unlucky not to retain our title.”
