Clitheroe still waiting for friendly victory

Clitheroe remain without a win in pre-season after their latest friendly outings.

On Saturday the Blues went down 1-0 at home to Ashton United.

The winning goal came five minutes before the break as Carlos Logan broke down the right, and his cross eventually made it’s way to Chris Bagguley, who finished from a narrow angle.

Then on Tuesday night, the Blues drew 0-0 at Atherton LR.

Clitheroe continue their pre-season preparations at neighbours Hurst Green on Tuesday night, kick-off 7-45 p.m., before, a week on Saturday, travelling to Garswood, kick-off 2 p.m.

Their final friendly is at home to East Villa on Saturday, August 10th (kick-off 3 p.m.).

The league season begins the following Saturday, when Paul Moore’s side entertain Farsley. before a trip to Salford City on Tuesday the 20th.
