Clitheroe FC sign new sponsorship deal with Clayton-le-Moors hotel
Clitheroe Football Club has announced a new sponsorship deal with the Mercure Dunkenhalgh.
The deal sees the Clayton-le-Moors based hotel and spa become the official kit sponsor of the Shawbridge club for the next two seasons.

It is great to have a successful local business on board and I feel very much that this partnership will be to the benefit of both parties over the coming years.”
Ford added: “We are extremely proud to be unveiled as the new kit sponsors of Clitheroe Football Club and feel the two-year term of the deal emphasises our commitment to the club. A core value of Mercure is the support of communities, not just with regard to football and sport but a whole range of local projects and charitable works. We look forward to playing a part in the upcoming season.”
The new kits will see competitive action for the first time on Saturday, August 18th as Clitheroe kick-off their 2012/13 campaign with a visit to Garforth Town, before entertaining Harrogate Railway Athletic on Tuesday, August 21st August and then Radcliffe Borough in the FA Cup on Saturday, August 25th.

The Blues warmed up for the new season with a 1-1 draw with Morecambe at Shawbridge on Monday night, with Jordan Williams’ second-half leveller ensured Clitheroe remain unbeaten in pre-season.
Last Saturday Clitheroe beat Airbus UK of the Welsh Premier League 3-2 with goals from Alex Johnson (2) and Andy Naylor.
