Clarets striker on song ahead of Euro 2016
Clarets striker Sam Vokes is enjoying life at the top of the Championship.
And he could well be top of the charts with Wales, with Chris Coleman's France-bound squad linking up with the Manic Street Preachers for an official Euro 2016 song.
The song, entitled 'Together Stronger (C'mon Wales)', will be released close to the tournament on May 20th, with all profits going to the Princes Gate Trust and Tenovus Cancer Care.
"It was fantastic to be involved with such an iconic Welsh band," Coleman told the official Football Association of Wales website.
"The Manic Street Preachers have been passionate Welsh football supporters and all the lads enjoyed the experience and joined in."
The song's release coincides with the Manic Street Preacher's 20th Anniversary re-issue of their hugely successful fourth album 'Everything Must Go'.
The Manic Street Preachers, a three-piece rock band from Blackwood in Gwent, have sold more than 10 million albums worldwide over the last three decades.
Wales have friendlies against Northern Ireland in Cardiff on Thursday and the Ukraine in Kiev on Monday in the build-up to Euro 2016, their first appearance at a major tournament for 58 years, with Vokes joining the squad in red-hot form after 10 goals in his last 14 games.
