Clarets draw Stanley in EFL Cup
Burnley have been drawn at neighbours Accrington Stanley in the second round of the EFL Cup.
Sean Dyche's side will take on Stanley at the Wham Stadium in the week commencing August 22nd.
The game will be the first competitive meeting between the sides. Burnley last played Accrington in 1893, winning 4-0.
The Clarets have failed to advance beyond their first hurdle in the competition for the last two seasons, exiting at Port Vale a year ago, after being knocked out at home by Sheffield Wednesday in 2014.
