Burnley confirm pre-season friendlies with Morecambe and Carlisle United

Burnley’s pre-season schedule is now taking shape following confirmation of two more games.

The Clarets will travel to Morecambe’s Globe Arena on Tuesday, July 9 (7.45pm KO). Ticket details to be advised.

This is followed by the recently announced trip to Cork, where Burnley play Cork City on Monday, July 15 (7pm KO).

On their return from Ireland, Burnley will play Carlisle United at Brunton Park on Saturday, July 20 (3pm KO). Ticket details to be advised.

Burnley end their pre-season preparations with a home game against Sparta Rotterdam at Turf Moor on Saturday, July 27 (3.30pm KO).

Further friendlies, including a date and opponents for Brian Jensen’s testimonial, are yet to be confirmed.
