Brian’s memory lives on through friends
Brian (39), who died in 2011, was father to four children, Jemma, Hannah, Jorge and Henri ,and married to Laura. A popular teacher at Stonyhurst College, he was a well-known figure in the town.
After a medical discharge from the Army in 1995 following a climbing accident, Brian worked for Lancashire Probation Service and opened The Snip gent’s barber shop in Clitheroe. He then went on to complete a BSc Honours in biomedical science and then a post graduate certificate in education. In 2010 he moved to Stonyhurst College as a house master.

Hide AdThe tournament, organised by friend Lee Robinson, saw 10 teams taking part, and was sponsored by Mantle Packaging Machinery and P and S Travel. It raised £425 for the Bowel Cancer UK charity.
Laura Hodgson said: “This tournament means a lot to our family and we really appreciate everyone’s involvement.”
