Clitheroe woman wins hockey gold medals at Birmingham University
Having graduated from Loughborough University last summer, where she played for their ladies’ hockey first team in the National EH League, Anna is now at Birmingham University studying for a Doctorate in Forensic Psychology and again playing hockey.
She is limited with the time she has to play, and usually plays in the second team, but has featured for the firsts, who dominated the BUCS League and won the top knockout kompetition, the BUCS Championship, easily defeating Loughborough University 3-0 at Sheffield.

Unfortunately, they lost 2-0 but put up an excellent performance.
And earlier this month, Anna was in action again with the University seconds in the EH Second XI Cup Final against Surbiton at Cannock.
Each time the University team scored, Surbiton came straight back with a goal, so the full time score was 2-2.
