Clitheroe continued their unbeaten start to the defence of their Ribblesdale Cricket League title with a 45-run win at Padiham on Saturday.
The table-topping visitors posted 211-7 batting first as Jack Dewhurst top scored with 67, his 85-ball knock including seven fours and two sixes.
Janaka Gunaratne also made 38 and Ali Ross 32.
Nathan Whitehead was the pick of the Padiham bowlers, taking 3-47, including the wicket of Dewhurst.
Brannon Varley also chipped in with 2-36 while professional Brady Barends had to settle for 1-65.
In reply Dewhurst continued his fine day with the ball, taking 3-34.
There was also three wickets for Joshua Marquet (3-53) and Gunaratne (3-21) as the hosts were bowled out for just 166.
Captain Kurt Robinson was the star man for Padiham, ending the day unbeaten on 67 not out in an innings that included seven fours and five sizes.
He simply ran our of partners however, Phil Haggerty (36), Varley (27) and Whitehead (10) the only other players to reach double figures as Padiham went down by 45 runs.
The previous evening Clitheroe has cruised to victory over Whalley in 20/20 competition.
In the Group Four clash, the hosts batted first and scored 122-6, Yogesh Takawale top scoring with 47, however Clitheroe cantered to an easy seven-wicket win at Station Road.
Clitheroe next host Settle tomorrow night, Friday, in the shorter form before looking to keep up their perfect start at Brinscall on Saturday.
