Award-winning members of Clitheroe Youth Forum have been collecting silverware again.
They were honoured after attending the Lancashire Club Awards held recently at the Lancaster House Hotel.
The teenagers beat fierce competition from other youngsters across the region to scoop trophies for their volunteering and community services.
During the event, Whalley resident and community stalwart, Mel Diack MBE, who is also chairman of Clitheroe Youth Forum, was presented with the 20-year Voluntary Service Award.
He said: “Each year Lancashire Clubs for boys and girls hold an annual award ceremony for all the various activities and competitions which they put on for their member clubs.
“This year I’m proud to say that we had both winners for youth volunteer of the year with Dionne Hanna winning the junior category and Jayden Whalley scooping the senior award.
“This is mainly given to young people who have been outstanding in their clubs, as well as volunteering in other capacities.
“Thirteen-year-old Dionne helps her mum at the Castleford Nursing Home, while Jayden Whalley (16) carries out volunteer farming as well as helping to raise funds for the Fire Service Benevolent Fund.
“In addition, Jayden was also praised for his help with the flood clearance in Whalley from several years ago. Both Dionne and Jayden will now go forward to win the High Sheriff Award.
“Bailey Hurst and Abigail Broadbent (both 13) received their fishing awards having come first and second in the county.”
Mr Diack added: “I would like to thank Trutex of Clitheroe who sponsored our sports shirts.”
