Marks and Sparks rekindle your flame,

And relight the fire in your wonderful name.

For 53 years you have served Accrington town,

Please don’t leave and let us down!

For closing our branch, please let it drop,

Your delicious food we would continue to shop.

Your clothes and fashion we could do without,

No food and drink! We would suffer a drought.

Keep your store open, we would spend much more,

With a substantial increase passing through your door.

Please M&S don’t abandon us like this,

You’re a shopping opportunity we would definitely miss.
