The health centre pharmacy in Colne has still not gone but is awaiting planning permission to put in a heating/cooling system in the old site.
We are now informed the NHS is advertising residential rooms to rent in the old health centre where, of course, the pharmacy staff are still housed! The rooms are on the Rightmove website for just £42 a week, including all bills, with a shared kitchen and living accommodation.
Surely planning permission is needed to achieve this? And what sort of clients will be attracted to such an offer?
I think this may be good reading for the residents of Colne and wonder what the local council thinks?
The whole thing is a complete joke and the poor pharmacy staff are stuck in the middle of it. What is the NHS playing at?
