I’m in pursuit of the early life of my father-in law, William Victor Greenwood born 1887 in Habergham Eaves, died in Sydney, Australia, in 1974. He served in the R.A.M.C. in WW1 and applied his skills in the Gallipoli and Egyptian campaigns.

ICan one of your readers provide us with details of the R.A.M.C. Burnley recruitment office in 1914/15 and the possible location of any records from that period?

Incidently I found you in a posting on the Briercliffe Forum web page.
