A woman in her twenties was airlifted to Royal Preston Hospital yesterday morning after being freed by firefighters following a collision between a car and forklift truck.

The incident happened at around 8-30 am at the junction of Blakewater Road and Henthorn Road in Clitheroe and the woman reportedly suffered hip injuries.
