Witness appeal after Whalley crash leaves cyclist with serious injuries

Police are appealing for witnesses after a 69-year-old cyclist was left with serious injuries following an accident in Whalley.

The accident happened at around 12-10 pm on Sunday, May 8th, on Station Road, and the cyclist from Clitheroe was found lying in the road after a collision with a silver BMW car.

PC Paul Travis, of Lancashire’s Roads Policing Unit, said: “We would like to speak to anyone with information about the collision, or who saw either the cyclist or the silver BMW shortly before they collided, so we can try and piece together what happened.”
